Tarp Aviation (RLA, Moscow Vnukovo) has added a first Global Express XRS, ch-aviation research reveals. The jet, imported in early April 2025, was previously operated by Türkiye-based Black Eagle and registered in San Marino.
The 15.5-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft, RA-73599 (msn 9378), was first active on April 9, flying between Ankara Esenboga and Moscow Vnukovo, with a stop at Baku Heydar Aliev International. On May 7, it operated for the first time under Tarp Aviation's 'RLA' code with a roundtrip between Minsk National and Moscow Sheremetyevo. It has primarily flown out of Minsk National since being imported into Russia.
Originally delivered to the United States, the ultra-long-range jet operated there until 2024. Registered as N311PB by Rangeflyers, Inc, a United States-based company specialising in aicraft ferrying, it flew from Wilmington New Castle to Istanbul Atatürk on October 18, 2024. It resumed operations by Black Eagle on December 6 as T7-SNCR with a flight to Paris Le Bourget, and was last active on March 12, 2025, flying from Istanbul Atatürk to Ankara Esenboga.
In December 2024, ch-aviation contacted Black Eagle's chairman, Turkish national Tarkan Ser, who confirmed that T7-SNCR was set to be sold to Northwind Aviation, a company based in Türkiye. However, ch-aviation could not identify a Turkish-registered firm by that name. This is the third Global-series jet imported into Russia that was previously operated by Turkish companies linked to Tarkan Ser, Black Eagle and STE Havacilik Denizcilik. Neither holds an AOC in Türkiye.
This Global Express XRS joins four Global-series aircraft in Tarp Aviation's fleet, three of which were recently inducted, including a Global 5000, two Global 6000s, and the sole Global 7500 registered in Russia. The company also operates three Challenger 650s, including one newly added, a G650, and a Tu-204-300.
Tarp Aviation is controlled by Russian firm TrustUnion Asset Management, which owns a 75.5% stake in the company. The remaining 24.5% is controlled by SecuTrust GmbH, an Austrian company represented by law firm Schweitzer + Partner, which also owns Austrian operator International Jet Management and has stakes in Avcon Jet and Primus Avia.
