Cebu Pacific Air (5J, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has announced Dubai International as the first long-haul destination the largest Filipino low-cost carrier plans to serve when it launches long-haul operations in fall. Cebu Pacific plans to lease eight A330-300s and will use the first aircraft to launch a daily service from Manila to Dubai on October 7. The A330s will operate in an all Economy Class configuration with "more than 400 seats" with flights mainly targeting the large number of Filipino workers in the Middle East.
