The government of Anguilla has signed a confidential agreement to buy seats on flights to Boston and New York Newark operated by AnguillAir (Anguilla) which the carrier cannot sell to customers due to payload restrictions. While details of the deal were not disclosed, the authorities hope to achieve a substantial return on investment by supporting the airline and bringing more tourism to the island. AnguillAir is a virtual division of BermudAir and will be using its parent's E190s.
