The shareholders of Air Astana (KC, Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev) voted during an extraordinary general meeting on January 15, 2026, to confirm a firm order for five B787-9s, with a further five options and five purchase rights. The aircraft, which were ordered from Boeing in November 2025, are scheduled for delivery between 2032 and 2035.
