Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa) has signed lease agreements for two ATR72-600s, as it moves ahead with its regional fleet growth and renewal plans. The aircraft are due for delivery by early autumn 2026 and will be placed with NoRRA Nordic Regional Airlines, a regional capacity provider operating exclusively for Finnair, and will be delivered in summer and early autumn 2026. Currently, NoRRA operates twelve ATR72-500s for Finnair. The airline will also lease two incremental E190s, also due in 2026, adding to the 12 units of the type it currently operates. The ramp-up of regional capacity will precede a planned fleet renewal, with the first of 18 firm-ordered E195-E2s due in the third quarter of 2027.
