Abra Group, owner of avianca airlines, GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, Wamos Air and NG Servicios Aéreos, has expanded its board of directors to 12 members and appointed Roberto Kriete as chairman, succeeding Constantino de Oliveira Júnior, who passed on January 24, 2026.

Adrian Neuhauser, chief executive officer of Abra, has been appointed to the board alongside Rodrigo Salcedo, Philipp Schiemer, and Anna Constantino. The board now comprises 12 members.

Chilean newspaper DF reported that these changes form part of the group’s preliminary steps towards launching an initial public offering (IPO) in the United States at some point in 2026.

Abra Group continues to move towards adding SKY Airline (Chile) to the group. The integration of the Chilean-Peruvian LCC is currently under investigation by local competition authorities. In Chile, the authority initiated an investigation in late January, while in Peru, its counterpart recently announced that it would launch a second phase of its analysis after identifying potential restrictive effects on competition.
