AirAsia X (D7, Kuala Lumpur International) has proposed changing its company name to AirAsia Group, subject to shareholder approval at its forthcoming 19th annual general meeting. The Companies Commission of Malaysia approved the reservation of the proposed name on February 24, 2026. The change, if approved by shareholders, will take effect once the commission issues a notice of registration for the new name.
