Logistics giant Kuehne+Nagel has added Frankfurt International to itstransatlantic operations, introducing a weekly Chicago O'Hare-Frankfurt-Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson route operated by Atlas Air using a B747-8F. The new route forms part of the ‘Inspire’ rotation, which additionally includes Liège, Taipei Taoyuan, and Sharjah. Kuehne+Nagel entered into an agreement with Atlas to charter the total capacity of two B747-8Fs in 2022. Notably, these freighters, N862GT (msn 67149) and N863GT (msn 67150), are the very last B747 aircraft ever built. The latter aircraft currently serves Kuehne+Nagel subsidiary Apex Logistics.
