Bristow Group will acquire Berry Aviation (BYA, San Marcos) from Acorn Capital Management in an all-cash USD105 million deal as it seeks to expand its government contracts business. "The acquisition of Berry Aviation, an established special mission aviation services provider, further aligns Bristow's portfolio with key megatrends: increasing geopolitical risk, rising defence spending and the continued outsourcing of mission-critical aviation services," president and CEO Chris Bradshaw said. Bristow Group said that on a pro forma basis, combined with other ongoing transactions, the deal would have increased the share of government contracts in the group's revenues from 26% to 35%. Berry Aviation's leadership and certificates will remain in place. Bristow expects the transaction to close in the third quarter of 2026.
