Joby Aviation (Monterey/Carmel) and Virgin Atlantic (VS, London Heathrow) signed an agreement on July 22, 2026, to formalise their 2025 partnership into a “binding, multi-year commercial framework, establishing Virgin Atlantic as Joby's exclusive airline partner for air taxi services in the UK.” This builds on Joby's existing partnership with Delta Air Lines, which holds a 49% stake in Virgin Atlantic.

Virgin Atlantic will now offer Joby's air taxi services through its booking platforms and support infrastructure integration at UK airports. Joby remains responsible for aircraft operations, route management, and regulatory approvals. Joby plans to initially launch its services from London Heathrow and Manchester, with expectations to expand its UK network in the future.
