China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) will launch 2x weekly B787-9 services from Guangzhou to Addis Ababa International via Changsha Huanghua on October 12, marking its entry into the Ethiopian market. Ethiopian Airlines already operates non-stop between Guangzhou and Addis Ababa, once to three times daily. Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta is currently China Southern Airlines' sole African destination.
