Thai VietJetAir (VZ, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) will continue international charter operations from Udon Thani with charter flights to Yiwu on April 22, 2027, and Wuxi on April 24. The Yiwu route will run 2x weekly, while the Wuxi service will operate weekly. Both routes will use A321-200 aircraft, though schedules remain subject to change. The low-cost carrier had previously operated both charter routes in the past. The expansion aligns with the airline's recent plans to establish Udon Thani as a regional hub, an airport that currently handles no international flights.
