SalamAir (OV, Muscat) will officially open its Salalah base at the end of October 2026, stressing that it is looking to expand its domestic network and “stimulate new travel demand”. The base will initially serve three routes from Oman's Dhofar Governorate, to Chittagong, Jeddah International, and Kozhikode. SalamAir is also set to increase frequencies between Muscat and Salalah, as it aims to boost tourist traffic during the high-demand winter holiday season.
