Fiji Airways (FJ, Nadi) secured alternative Jet A-1 supplies and maintained normal operations during a late-August fuel shortage at Nadi airport after a recent fuel delivery from one supplier could not be used. The airline said all fuel must undergo testing and clearance before use. Fuel supply has since normalised for scheduled flights, according to a Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) effective from August 26 until September 3, 2026. Non-scheduled flights remain subject to case-by-case approval, while medevac flights are exempt.
