Abu Dhabi sovereign investor L'imad Holding, whose portfolio includes Etihad Aviation Group, is reportedly considering bidding for a stake in Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, parent of Atlas Air, in a transaction that could value the group at USD10 billion or more. Discussions remain at an early stage.

Investors led by Apollo Global Management acquired Atlas Air Worldwide in 2023 in a USD5.2 billion enterprise-value transaction, as ch-aviation previously reported. Apollo was reported in December 2025 to be considering a sale of the company at a valuation exceeding USD12 billion including debt.
