Air Arabia (G9, Sharjah) as well as other low-cost carriers Air India Express (IX, Delhi International) and flydubai (FZ, Dubai International) will move to Doha's new Doha Hamad International airport from April 1 onwards alongside Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka), IranAir (IR, Tehran Mehrabad), Nepal Airlines (RA, Kathmandu), PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International), RAK Airways (Ras al Khaimah International), Syrianair (RB, Damascus) and Yemenia (IY, Aden). While these 10 airlines will operate from the new airport, all other carriers serving Doha Hamad International will continue to operate to the old airport for the time being until the premium passenger lounges at the new facility have been completed. This includes national carrier Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad International).
