Fly SAX (Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta) has seen its DC-9-10, 5Y-SAX (msn 45740), impounded in Lagos by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on grounds of "non-adherence to security procedures." The aircraft arrived in Nigeria on June 3 with 15 crew members and the three Nigerian deportees including businessman Anthony Chinedu and two alleged drug lords. The dispute between Nigeria and Kenya seems to have been resolved as the aircraft has now been allowed to leave Lagos again.
