Aer Lingus (EI, Dublin International) will from January 2014 boost its Shannon - US operations through the wet-lease of three B757-200s from Air Contractors (Dublin International). Beginning January 20, Shannon to Boston will develop into a year-round flight, as opposed to the current Summer-only operation. From March 9, the flight will increase from 5x weekly to daily. Thereafter, from March 30, a new 5x weekly Shannon to New York JFK route will launch, also operating year-round. Air Contractors B757-200s will also be used on a new route linking Dublin International with Toronto Pearson.
