Aerovista Tanzania (Dar es Salaam) has suspended operations after parent, Sharjah-based ACMI specialists, AeroVista, claimed excessive taxation on the Tanzanian government's part, had rendered "the continued operation and introduction of additional aircraft into Tanzania under the Aerovista AOC as economically unviable, for the time being." AeroVista obtained its Tanzanian AOC in September 2012 just as a lease contract with Air Tanzania (TC, Dar es Salaam) for a Vista Georgia (Tbilisi) B737-500, 4L-AJB (msn 27354) fell through.
