Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International) are set to launch Lomé as their second cargo hub outside Addis Ababa International with effect from August 15. In addition to direct flights to Addis Ababa and to Liège, regional operations will include flights to Accra, Douala, Bamako, Abidjan, Abuja, Malabo, Ouagadougou, Port Harcourt Awolowo and Cotonou Cadjehoun to be operated using a B737-300(F). It is understood that as part of a joint venture, Ethiopian Airlines will lease the aircraft on a dry lease basis and subcontract it to their West African subsidiary ASKY Airlines (KP, Lomé) on a wet lease basis.
