Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo) shareholder, tycoon Alexander Lebedev, has sold his 4.5% in the airline ITAR-TASS News Agency has reported. No exact value on the sale was disclosed though it is speculated that the transaction was valued at RUB3biillion (USD98.5million) according to a Moscow stock Exchange valuation. A bitter Mr Lebedev told ITAR-TASS: “I have been oppressed in this company for 10 years, I was not allowed to carry through adequate decisions.” Mr Lebedev also disposed of Red Wings Airlines (WZ, Moscow Domodedovo) earlier this year, again citing political interference and pressure.
