Abu Dhabi Aviation (BAR, Abu Dhabi International) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) for two DHC-8-400 NextGen which, based on list prices, are valued at approximately USD70million. Aside from being the largest commercial helicopter operator in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi Aviation also operates a fleet that includes one Q400 aircraft, one DHC-8-300 and two DHC-8-200 turboprops. The carrier's main activities relate to the support of offshore oil, engineering and construction companies.
