El Al Israel Airlines (LY, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) has officially launched its new LCC subsidiary, UP by El Al (Tel Aviv Ben Gurion), which will commence operations from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion to the following five European destinations on March 30, 2014: Berlin Schönefeld, Budapest, Kyiv Boryspil, Larnaca and Prague Václav Havel. UP will offer economy and premium economy seating as well as two fare classes: UP Basic and UP Smart. UP Basic will cover the fare and is non-refundable or amendable while UP Smart includes baggage and premium seating where available as well as lounge access in Tel Aviv.
