El Al Israel Airlines (LY, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) has painted the first B737-800 to go to UP by El Al (Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) into the new LCC subsidiary's livery. Skyliner Aviation reports that the twinjet, 4X-EKO (msn 30287), was recently in Ostrava for the repaint before returning to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion. UP is set to launch operations on March 30 with flights to Berlin Schönefeld, Budapest, Kyiv Boryspil, Larnaca and Prague Václav Havel. 4X-EKM (msn 30465) will be the second UP aircraft and both will operate with 180 Economy Class seats.
