China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) has inaugurated scheduled services at the recently commissioned Fuyuan airport in China's Heilongjiang Province near the Russian border. ch-aviation schedule data reveals the Chinese carrier recently launched 4x weekly flights to Harbin on-board an A320-200.
Built at a cost of CNY442million (USD70.7million), the airfield boats one 2'500m long runway, and a 4,000sqm terminal building designed to handle 260'000 passengers and 1'430 tonnes of cargo per annum by 2020.
