Star Perú (2I, Lima International) CEO Román Kasianov has disclosed that management is planning to phase out the airline's fleet of BAe146s. He did not, however, state which type of aircraft was being considered as a potential replacement.

According to Peru's El Comercio, Kasianov said that in addition to operating scheduled passenger flights throughout Peru, the carrier also deploys roughly 30 percent of its fleet on charter flights to mining and oil areas where the BAe146's ruggedness has proven particularly useful.

The ch-aviation aircraft database shows Star Perú operates two BAe 146-100s, four BAe 146-200s, one BAe 146-200(QT), and two BAe 146-300s.
