Fly Baghdad (IF, Baghdad) is a privately-owned, Iraqi-backed start-up looking to offer regional flights from July of this year onwards. The country's Deputy Transport Minister Bangen Rekani told the Gulf News in an interview that the carrier would operate a pair of A320-200s and a CRJ200 initially.
Iraq's other private airlines include Al-Naser Airlines (Baghdad), ZagrosJet (Erbil), Bawabat Al Iraq, and Al-Burhan Airways (Baghdad).
