East African Aviation (Addis Ababa International) has taken delivery of its first Beech (twin turboprop) KingAir 350i the airline's managing director Captain Mulat Lemlemayehu has disclosed.
Speaking to Ethiopia's Reporter magazine, Mulat said the twinprop will be used for general passenger charters as well as medical evacuation (medevac) flights. Target customers include international aid organizations, travel agencies, VIPs, mining and construction companies which operate in remote parts of Ethiopia. Operations will also cover regional neighbours Sudan and Djibouti.
A second of the type is expected in due course which will join two Cessna (single piston) 172s used by the firm's flying school.
