Air Arabia (G9, Sharjah) has signed longterm lease agreements with Air Lease Corporation for six A321neo. Sourced from the US-based lessor's Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) order books, the aircraft are due to deliver between January and October 2019.

The UAE-based LCC's fleet is currently an all-A320 operation featuring thirty-seven of the type. Its Air Arabia Egypt (E5, Alexandria Borg el Arab) unit, on the other hand, currently features one A320-200, Air Arabia Jordan (Amman Queen Alia) two A320-200s, and Air Arabia Maroc (3O, Casablanca Mohamed V) five A320-200s.
