Transavia Airlines (HV, Amsterdam Schiphol) has decided to gradually close down its subsidiary Transavia Denmark (PH/Copenhagen Kastrup) and to concentrate on expansion from France and the Netherlands instead. It has given up all of its routes from Billund and Copenhagen Kastrup on various dates between November 1 and April 1 when it stopped operations in Denmark and has transferred the B737-700 and two B737-800s based there back to its Dutch bases. It had already cancelled its flights from Copenhagen Kastrup to Barcelona, Geneva, Malaga, Rome Fiumicino and Tenerife Sur and from Billund to Antalya last November and continued to operate some services from Billund to Las Palmas and Salzburg and from Copenhagen Kastrup to Faro, Innsbruck, Las Palmas and Salzburg throughout the winter season.
