LATAM Airlines Brasil concludes B767-300ER operations
27.11.2023 - 18:14 UTCLATAM Airlines Brasil (JJ, Sao Paulo Congonhas) has confirmed to the Brazilian airline industry news portal Aeroflap that it concluded B767-300ER operations on November 15, 2023.
The first of two aircraft to be retired, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows PT-MSO (msn 41747) operated its last scheduled flight from Manaus International to Sao Paulo Guarulhos on October 30, followed by PT-MOD (msn 40799) on November 15, also last serving the same route. Both aircraft have since been ferried to LATAM's maintenance facility at São Carlos Francisco Pereira Lopez airport. Both will undergo cargo conversion.
LATAM Airlines Perú continues to operate nine B767-300(ER) aircraft out of Lima International to Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson, Los Angeles International, Madrid Barajas, Miami International, and New York JFK, ch-aviation fleets advanced and ch-aviation schedules data shows. Across its three cargo air operator certificates in Brazil, Chile, and Colombia, LATAM Airlines Group already operates twenty B767 freighters, eleven converted B767-300ER(BCF)s, and nine production B767-300F freighters.

03.10.2023 - 12:41 UTCLATAM Airlines Group has taken delivery of its first A321-200NX directly from Airbus and simultaneously ordered 13 incremental units of the type from the manufacturer.
PS-LBB (msn 11531) was ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder via Sal Amilcar Cabral International to Fortaleza International on September 30, 2023, and after brief customs clearance procedures, onwards to São Carlos Francisco Pereira Lopez on October 2, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. The aircraft is configured to seat up to 224 passengers and will be operated by LATAM Airlines Brasil.
The ch-aviation fleets advanced module shows that LATAM Airlines has eighty-seven A320neo Family aircraft remaining on order from the manufacturer and Air Lease Corporation. This number includes seventeen A320-200Ns (all from the manufacturer), sixty A321-200NX (including three from the lessor), and ten A321-200NY(XLR)s (five from the lessor). The aircraft will join twenty A320-200Ns already operated by LATAM Airlines Brasil and LATAM Airlines Perú.
