Air Georgian (Toronto Pearson) has positioned its first CRJ100, C-FWJF (cn 7095), to operate under the Air Canada Express banner from Great Falls to Toronto Pearson in preparation for its first flight. The twinjet has been seen painted in the Air Canada (AC, Montréal Trudeau) partnership's colours.

Following a 2013 Request for Proposals (RFP), Air Canada selected Air Georgian to operate a number of additional regional routes - including trans-border routes - in mid-2014 using Canadair Regional Jet aircraft.

Air Canada currently has capacity purchase agreements with other regional airlines that operate under the Air Canada Express banner including Jazz Air (QK, Halifax) and Sky Regional Airlines (Montréal Trudeau). Air Georgian already operates 14 Beech 1900D aircraft as Air Canada Express.
