SCAT Airlines (DV, Shimkent) has signed a firm order agreement with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for six B737-8s with options for an additional five of the type.

“The 737 MAX 8 fits our network strategy as we expand our network to include destinations in Europe, Russia and the Far East,” Vladimir Denssov, President, SCAT Airlines, told a press conference during the 2017 Dubai Airshow.

Inclusive of its Sunday Airlines unit, the Kazakh carrier currently operates three B737-300s, three B737-500s, one B737-700, four B757-200s, one B767-300(ER), and six CRJ200s.
