Aero Mongolia (M0, Ulaanbaatar) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) concerning a tentative order for two SSJ 100/95s due in 2019. The Russian manufacturer said in a statement that talks will now start over the finalization of the order, which it hopes to have done by year-end

"We are ready for a constructive dialogue with our foreign partners from Aero Mongolia and, in turn, are ready to offer them SSJ100 aircraft that can help solve business problems both on their current route network and with future growth," the president of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, Alexander Rubtsov, said.

Aero Mongolia currently operates three Fokker 50s on scheduled flights connecting its Ulaanbaatar hub with Khovd, Ulaangom, and Ulgit locally as well as Irkutsk International in Russia and Hohhot in China.
