Av8jet (AJO, Malta International) has inducted a first Citation Jet 2+, complimenting a Citation Jet 2 in the company's active fleet. Director John Norris told ch-aviation that two additional Citation Jet-series aircraft are scheduled to join Av8jet's fleet in 2026.

The 12.6-year-old aircraft, 9H-BOD (msn 525A-0506), is configured for up to six passengers. It began operations under Av8jet's 'AJO' code on October 1, flying between Oxford Kidlington and Bournemouth, followed by legs to Bergen, London Luton, and Nice the next day. Norris confirmed the jet is managed on behalf of a private owner, will be available for charter, and will operate on a floating-base model.

Beyond the two Citation Jet 2 variants, Av8jet operates a Falcon 2000 and a Global Express, and manages an Isle of Man-registered Challenger 601(3A/ER). In May, the company retired the sole Global 6500 it operated.

Av8jet's fleet also includes another Citation Jet 2 that has been stored at London Biggin Hill since May 2024, having never flown since being added in August of the same year, as well as a Citation Jet 4 inducted in November which has completed three flights so far in 2025.

“Both have had extensive refits, and we are looking forward to them joining the fleet in 2026,” Norris added.

This Citation Jet 2+ was formerly the sole Citation Jet-series aircraft operated by Air Charter Scotland Europe (SCO, Malta International) since early 2024. The company's fleet now comprises two Citation Excel jets and two Challenger 350s.

In the United Kingdom, Air Charter Scotland has recently retired a Citation Jet 2, following the phase-out of a Citation Jet 1 in late 2024. The carrier's air operator's certificate (AOC) continues to include another Citation Jet 2 parked at Oxford since October 2024.

Air Charter Scotland's active fleet comprises a Citation Latitude, a Legacy 500, a Praetor 600, and a Legacy 650, after exiting Dassault Aviation operations with the retirement of a Falcon 7X in June.
