Solairus Aviation (TWY, Novato) is preparing to induct a first G800 for charter, part of nearly 50 fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft added to the carrier's managed fleet since January.
Based at Newburgh, the ultra-long-range jet's manufacturer serial number and registration remain unknown. ch-aviation research shows that a G800, N288Z (msn 88004), has been stationed at Newburgh since September 19. The same registration formerly belonged to a G650 placed on Solairus Aviation's Part 135 certificate and reregistered as N287Z (msn 6093) on June 11.
Alongside the G800, Solairus Aviation added 27 other ultra-long-range jets, including G650ERs and G700s based in Boston, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Palm Beach, as well as a Global 7500 stationed at San José, US. The company's first G700 available for charter was inducted in late 2024.
Since the start of the year, Solairus Aviation has also added eight long-range jets, five super-midsize aircraft, three light jets, and an undisclosed number of turboprops and helicopters.
As of July, Solairus Aviation's Part 135-certified fleet comprised 147 aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, Hawker Beechcraft, Pilatus Aircraft, and Textron Aviation.
