AirX Charter (AX, Malta International) has received authorisation from Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to conduct domestic on-demand operations. The operator said it saw growing demand for long-range corporate, governmental, and high-end private travel within the Kingdom. It became the third executive jet operator authorised for domestic operations in Saudi Arabia, following two Maltese carriers, VistaJet (Malta), which secured approval in August, and Flexjet Operations (Malta), authorised in December. In May, GACA removed cabotage restrictions on foreign-operated, on-demand charter flights.

The carrier's fleet comprises 20 aircraft, including an A340-300, a B737-700(BBJ), a Challenger 604 added in late 2025 and yet to enter service, eight Challenger 850s, four Legacy 600s, and five Lineage 1000s.
