The Irish High Court has issued an order recording binding undertakings from the Spanish online travel agency (OTA) eDreams to cease all access to Ryanair's Travel Agent Direct (TAD) booking system and stop using third parties to access it. This follows legal action from Ryanair last week to stop eDreams’ attempt to sell its flights through unlawful access. Ryanair offered eDreams free Application Programming Interface (API) if it adopted transparency standards that other OTAs accepted. In December 2025, Ryanair was fined EUR255.8 million euros (USD302 million at the time) by Italy's competition authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato - AGCM) for doing the same, blocking OTAs from selling its tickets and instead forcing sales through its own website.
