airBaltic (BT, Riga) will open a seasonal base at Tenerife Sur during the Winter 2026/27 season. The airline plans to connect the island with Liège (marking the return of scheduled passenger services to that airport), Palanga, and Ljubljana. airBaltic will also expand its network from the existing seasonal base at Gran Canaria, and, from mid-December, it will add new flights from Kuusamo in northern Finland, albeit without launching a base there.
