Fiji Airways (FJ, Nadi) has reduced seat availability on flights to and from Funafuti after the Tuvaluan government declared a state of emergency over critical fuel shortages linked to the ongoing Middle East conflict. The airline said it must tanker fuel, preventing flights from operating at full capacity until further notice. It also warned of strict baggage limits, significant cargo restrictions, and possible baggage or cargo offloads to meet fuel and safety requirements.

The carrier operates ATR - Avions de Transport Régional flights to Funafuti through its regional unit, Fiji Link.
