Air Peace (P4, Lagos) has secured regulatory approval from Brazil to operate scheduled passenger, cargo, and mail services, clearing the way for the Nigerian carrier to launch direct flights between the two countries as it accelerates its international expansion.

Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) granted the approval under Ordinance No. 19.449/2026, according to a statement carried by multiple local media outlets. ch-aviation has contacted Air Peace for comment.

The approval comes as Air Peace pursues landing rights in Canada and the United States for planned flights to Toronto Pearson and New York. The airline is also preparing to resume services to Jeddah International and Guangzhou, while planning to launch 3x weekly flights to Manchester.

Regionally, the carrier has announced plans to add Libreville Leon M'Ba in Gabon, Conakry in Guinea, Bamako in Mali, and Douala in Cameroon to its network from August 1.
