Bangkok Airways (PG, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) will invest THB2 billion baht (USD60 million) to participate capital increase at associate U-Tapao International Aviation Co., Ltd. (UTA) and maintain its 40% stake. The board approved the investment on June 25, 2026, with the subscription expected in September 2026. UTA, which was established to develop and manage the Utapao airport project, is increasing its registered capital to THB20 billion (USD600 million) from THB15 billion (USD450 million) to back the Eastern Aviation City project. Bangkok Airways will subscribe to 20 million new shares at THB100 (USD3) each using its own funds.
