Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) is planning to invest EUR50 million euros (USD57 million) in the expansion of its maintenance facility at Shannon. The investment will include a new four-bay MRO hangar, on top of the LCC’s existing three-bay facility. Construction is expected to begin in early 2027 and last less than two years. The project also includes a new Ryanair Engineering Academy, at which the airline expects to train over 400 additional aircraft mechanics between 2027 and 2031.
