Thai Airways International (TG, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) will sign a 50-year lease on August 4, 2026, for a 210-rai (336,000-square-metre) site at Utapao, effective September 1. The THB10 billion baht (USD298.9 million) MRO project will begin construction in 2027 and open in 2030. The facility will accommodate three widebody aircraft simultaneously and handle up to 110 widebody and 130 narrowbody aircraft annually. Thai Airways' wholly owned Thai MRO Services Company will operate the centre.
