Eritrean Airlines (Asmara) has returned their only Airbus A319-100 (LZ-AOA / MSN 3139) to Bulgarian operator BH Air - Balkan Holidays Air (8H, Sofia) from whom they continue to wet-lease an A320 (LZ-BHF / MSN 1087). Eritrean uses wet-leased aircraft to, in part, help circumvent EU restrictions which would ordinarily prevent it from operating into Europe, where it currently serves Rome Fiumicino.
