SkyWest Airlines (OO, St. George Municipal) is planning to open a new MRO facility at South Bend Airport, Indiana in the coming months. According to a SkyWest Airlines spokesman, the facility will employ 40 people and will mainly cater for routine maintenance and repairs to the airline's fleet of 150 CRJ200s. The Utah-based regional carrier expects operations at South Bend to be up and running by next year.
