Air Serbia (JU, Belgrade Nikola Tesla) will continue to operate its fleet of eight B737-300s for at least another summer season, EX-YU Aviation News reports. Following their withdrawal from scheduled passenger flights in April 2014, the Serbian carrier will use the 737-fleet on charter flights. Belgrade is reportedly intent on establishing a new charter carrier which would absorb the 737s as well as former Jat Airways (Belgrade Nikola Tesla) employees. Should the new carrier come into being, it would likely operate under the old brand name of the Macedonian subsidiary of JAT Yugoslav Airlines (Belgrade Nikola Tesla), Aeromak, with Niš to play a significant role in the airline's operations. Tour operators will be given the freedom to decide on how the aircraft will be branded, however. The establishment of the new airline is still be subject to Air Serbia's agreement.
