Travel Service Airlines (Prague Václav Havel) will acquire 34% of CSA Czech Airlines (Prague Václav Havel) from Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon). In a statement issued on Tuesday, December 9, CSA said Korean Air would exercise an option to acquire a further 34% shareholding in the Czech national carrier before selling that onto Travel Service. Korean acquired a 44% stake in CSA in April this year. Once the transaction is complete, Travel Service will hold 34% of CSA, Korean Air 44%, Czech Aeroholding 19.74% and Ceska Pojistovna 2.26%. In light of changes to the Czech carrier's shareholding structure, Philippe Moreels announced his intention to resign from the positions of CSA President and Chairman of the Board.
