Sunwing Airlines (WG, Toronto Pearson) will no longer operate seasonal long-haul services between Canada and Europe in the upcoming summer season. Sunwing had wet-leased two B767-300(ER)s from euroAtlantic Airways (YU, Lisbon) in the past two years to operate scheduled services during summer months. According to Anna.aero Sunwing’s operations to Europe have been producing heavy losses. It will concentrate on narrowbody operations on leisure routes in Canada, to the United States and the Caribbean going forward.
