Kish Air (KIS, Tehran Mehrabad) will add a total of five Embraer Regional Jets to its fleet over the coming six weeks the airline's Managing Director, Mohammad-Taqi Jadidi, has said.

In an interview with the official IRNA news agency, Jadidi said one E195 would arrive imminently to be followed by a further four by March 21 (Iranian New Year).

“These aircraft are light, 108-seaters and were made in 2008 and 2010,” he added.

Kish Air operates two A320-200s (leased from Jordan Aviation), two A321-200s (leased from Khors Aircompany), four MD-82s, four MD-83s, and three Fokker 100s on scheduled flights throughout Iran as well as to Dubai International.
